Campus Book Rentals

Ahh..College, I have many memories from the time I spent there. The one that sticks out in my mind the most, the cost of the text books!  I tried to buy used books but they were in short supply. So for all those attending post secondary education or whose children are I understand the burden.

If you are looking for an alternative to the high cost of textbook purchases you should check out Campus Book Rentals. I think there are some great benefits to using a program like this one such as:

-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
-for each textbook rented they donate to Operation Smile

So just what is Operation  Smile and what does it have to do with Campus Book Rentals you ask?

Operation Smile is a charity organization for children – donate non profit

Well, to put it short and sweet, Renting form Campus Book Rentals can help save a Child’s life. Each time a textbook is rented a donation is made to Operation Smile who arranges for life saving cleft lip surgeries to children in need. This year alone Campus Book Rentals has donated 1,000 life saving surgeries.

Find out more about Operation Smile HERE

Campus Book Rentals has a new program too called Rent Back. If you have books which you bought instead of renting, you can now rent them to other students. So you can now make back more than what you spent on the books. As a cash strapped student money in your pocket is certainly a bonus.

I was compensated in exchange for posting information about this program. However, as usual all opinions are 100% my own.

  1. Brings back memories of when I did my Post Graduate degree and we bought the textbooks from the previous years' students and then we sold ours a year later. All this though was organised by the school (this was back in Britain)
