Mummy Meatloaf: Halloween Dinner

I am really looking forward to our Halloween dinner tonight. On the menu is Mummy Meatloaf and Mashed potatoes with a side of peas! Here is how we made our spooky meat mummy:

Mummy Meatloaf

printable recipe

2 lb ground beef
2 eggs slightly beaten
2 medium onions, finely chopped (reserve some pieces for teeth and eyes)
5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce (use Bragg's sauce for gluten free substitute)
4 tbs barbecue sauce
1/2 tsp Montreal steak spice

Lightly beat egg, then combine all ingredients in bowl. Shape into mummy head and place on baking sheet. Add onion pieces for eyes and teeth and wrap with bacon. Bake in oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1.5 hours.

  1. Hi!
Since you do not know me, my plan was to leave an uplifting comment on one of your posts. Then I saw this!!!!!
I'm sorry to say this, but this is gross. I came back a few times, wondering if this would be a good pick. The answer is NO!!! This is gross.
And the bacon! Maybe one day I will come back and read the entire post.
    But not on this visit.
I sincerely apologise if I am too harsh, or have hurt your feelings.
I guess I need to be a young child - to be able to appreciate the gross-ness!!
Thank you for sponsoring this giveaway, and I do appreciate it.
I just really need to win!!
