I hear and see it everywhere this time of year..Scrolling down my Facebook Wall the word resolution is popping up everywhere and conversations abound about what everyone’s New Year's resolution is for the coming year..
I don't make New Year's resolutions because I am pretty sure that I won't follow through on them. After the Holiday's I am looking for things to slow down a bit rather than add something to my to-do list.
I set goals for myself when I know that I feel I can accomplish` them and am ready to start actively working towards them. I re-evaluate throughout the year and change or adapt my goals as needed.

Still, I do sometimes wonder how many of those resoltuions actually are met.
Do people make New Year's resolutions just because society has made us think we should? Are broad goals made, with no plan in place of how to achieve them or no drive to do so just for the sake of the calendar turning over?
I think that you should set your goals when the time is right. Too many goals are set in the New Year haste and not followed through on.
