WW: RIP - Hairdryer, Lived a Long Useful Life {Linky}

 Sadly my hair dryer had to go the electronics graveyard  garbage can this past week as it is nearing the end of it's life. The burning smell could just not be ignored so I went and bought a replacement. What a sad day it was, for the hairdryer and I have had a long history, approximately 19 years to be exact. Which I consider to be long in terms of lifetime, considering how things seem to be made to break after a few years, thus needing to be replaced. I can only remember back far enough to know that this was the hair dryer I used for Grade 8 graduation so it could even be older!

Feel free to leave a comment, I love to read them. Have your own Wordless (or wordy) Wednesday Post, please link up below!

  2. RIP blow dryer! I have the hardest time parting with things when they no longer function, but it sounds like it was definitely time! May your next hair dryer serve you as well as your old one did...

  3. Oh I hate it when blowdryers burn out! For me it always randomly happens when I'm getting ready to go somewhere important lol.

  5. I remember those hair dryers! I'm sorry you had to toss it, I know it will be hard to find a "good" one that will last just as long.

  8. :( It had a good life, and lots of good memories with your head. ;p

    When mine died, I went through 3 before I found one that lived up to the high standard of the first one!

  10. I feel your pain. It's so sad saying goodbye to a trusty appliance after so many wonderful years together. The same with a favorite bra. It almost breaks my heart when I have to replace mine lol.
