Minimize Monday: Sharing
So I had picked out something and placed it in a gift bag, showing Karensa that we were passing on her toy train and some fisher price little people. It was nice to see that she was excited about sharing it and wasn't upset to pass it on. She just kept saying train and Allistair (her friend) on the way to the party. So cute.
I originally bought this particular train as it made noise and we needed a toy train to use to teach our daughter the sound "choo-choo" and later the word train. This interactive toy was perfect, as it had little beads inside that "popped" as you drove it around, so I was happy to pass it on to another child with hearing loss who will benefit just as much. Plus side, his mom totally appreciated and of course saw the benefit to the toy before I even brought up why we originally bought it.

Back to School Blast Sponsor Spotlight: Lovable Labels
I have been thinking about getting some labels for Nathan for his school supplies for the past couple years, yet each September I instead find myself using a Sharpie to go through and write his name over and over on everything.
While this is not such a big deal for items with tags, when it comes to things like shoes it can be a bit more awkward, not mention just all around time consuming.
And with Karensa now in Preschool, it is becoming even more necessary to find a fast, effective way to label all the clothes, shoes, lunch kits, etc.
This is where Lovable Labels comes in to help with this task. They make wonderful, durable labels in all sizes that make quick and easy work of labeling all items for Back to School and more.

WW: RIP - Hairdryer, Lived a Long Useful Life {Linky}
Sadly my hair dryer had to go the electronics graveyard garbage can this past week as it is nearing the end of it's life. The burning smell could just not be ignored so I went and bought a replacement. What a sad day it was, for the hairdryer and I have had a long history, approximately 19 years to be exact. Which I consider to be long in terms of lifetime, considering how things seem to be made to break after a few years, thus needing to be replaced. I can only remember back far enough to know that this was the hair dryer I used for Grade 8 graduation so it could even be older!
Feel free to leave a comment, I love to read them. Have your own Wordless (or wordy) Wednesday Post, please link up below!

Peekaboo Beans Clothing: Review
I recently talked about how I had wanted to find out more about Peekaboo Beans clothing and am happy to now to be able to share our personal thoughts about this clothing line.
As you can see Karensa was excited about wearing her "Beans" and getting to show them off.
She is wearing the Confetti Tank in Taffy Rose in a size 3. I was glad to get the opportunity to find out what size she would wear in this line as most clothes she has to wear smaller than the average child. At 3.5 she is just starting to wear size three. This tank was a little big but will definitely fit for the entire summer, where the size 2 would not have lasted that long.

Minimize Monday: A little becomes a lot
I have been checking out the "Minimize Monday" at posts at Mommy Moment for a while now, always meaning to find some stuff (and I know there is definitely "stuff" around this house) that needs getting rid of. Up until this week I just haven't gotten to it.
I happened to notice on a Mom's group on Facebook that a young mom on a fixed income was looking for some thicker inserts to use in her cloth diapers, knowing that we had six of these and are working on potty training I figured we could spare a couple.
Then I had a brillant idea, I asked the mom what size clothes her daughter was in and it worked out that the two boxes of clothes I had in the garage would be good for her too. So I got it all together and dropped it off since they didn't have a vehicle.
So not only did I manage to get rid of some clothes that we didn't need hanging around here, this week I also got to help someone out! And that is how a little turned into a lot.
Did you get rid of something this week! Head over and link up at Mommy Moment!

Peekabo Beans: Meet the Stylist
I had heard about this Children's clothing company since it has became so popular but hadn't yet tried any of their clothes and was eager to learn more. I was happy to learn that someone I knew right in my own city was a Peekaboo Beans Stylist and I could have my questions answered and share them all with you!
Jenny is mom to two children ages 5 and 3. She enjoys everything about her kids, spending time with them, going on adventures and especially getting down and playing with them. She also likes music, specifically singing and playing bass. Want to know what Jenny had to say...Read on for my Interview with her....
What is Peekaboo Beans?
Peekaboo Beans is a company based out of Vancouver, Canada that produces high quality, fashion forward and kid friendly clothing.
When you get involved and what made you want to be a part of this company? My son first took a liking to the clothes when I bought just one top to try. Being that he is tactile sensitive, and he adored it, I was soon hooked. With our love for the clothes, joining with Peekaboo beans as a play stylist was a natural fit. When I started up I learned so much more about the company and it's vision that children NEED to play. I have grown to love this company more and more with each passing day, thier passion, encouragement, and family focus.
How does someone purchase Peekaboo Beans Clothing?
Peekaboo Beans are available for purchase in a number of ways, you can shop online, through a boutique, or purchase through a Stylist. When you purchase through a stylist, you can order individually or host a soiree to recieve great hostess "beanefits" (Think free & half price items!)
What sets Peekaboo Beans apart from other clothing?
Thier high quality, attention to detail (large pull tabs for easy zipping, chin guards, thumb holes etc), comfort, shape that stays, longevity & versitality! (Not to mention the great re-sale value!)
How do you balance working and Motherhood?
I try to keep my kids first, I will do my work in between thier activities and try to be available when they want to play. The great thing about Peekaboo Beans is I get to set my own hours, I can work as much or little as I like.

Can other people become stylists?
Of course! We are currently on the lookout for Stylists in many different areas, if you are interested in more information, send me an email at jennym.stylist@peekaboobeans. com
Have questions..Want to know more..Connect with Jenny on Facebook and be sure to stop by the Peekaboo Beans Website. There are lots of amazing clothes to check out and Peekaboo Beans has lots of shopping options, in addition to hosting a soiree through a stylist, you can purchase directly from the website (they ship to the US and Internationally too) and you can even look to see if there is a retailer located near you.
