Wordless Wednesday: K getting impressions to make ear molds

These pictures are of course older, but this is the process to make the impressions that are used to make an ear mold to connect to K's hearing aid.

Molding Putty is mixed and injected into the ear. This impression is sent off, and takes about 1 week to produce a mold.

She is a bit more settled here now that everyone's done playing with her ears.. just waiting on the molding putty to harden up a bit before they can be removed.

Ear Mold - easily replaced as she grows.
Hearing Aid - expected to last 4 - 6 Years
(8Yrs with good care)

Battery - Last roughly 2 weeks.
Battery Tool - Needed to open the battery compartment.

Any questions...just let me know!
