Okay so I still have this lingering cold, as does my husband. I was going to go out tonight to Sign Language class but after day at work didn't feel like it. Was planning something quick and easy for dinner anyway as nothing was taken out or pre-made. Kids had grilled cheese with fruit, hubby had scrambled egg sandwich and I had some stir fry with rice noodles that was already made.
So this brings we to my next thought, which is that I desperately need to get back on track with making freezer meals as due to illness, being busy I haven't for about a month and we are running out. So one weekend soon this will be on my task list. So instead am going to drop my son at Judo tonight so I don't have to take both kids (not so much fun with a three year old) tomorrow while my husband is working. Then come home and clean up a bit and take it easy.
So how do you handle busy life and dinner? Freezer meals, order out, cook every day??? combination of all. We do not eat out or order out that much but once in a while we do. It is more challenging now that I am on gluten free diet but picking up a rotisserie chicken at grocery store works well in a pinch for us!
